Here are tips to clean your sex toys properly.  It is important to properly clean your toys to keep them maintained and also for sanitary reasons.  If you plan on sharing your sex toy with a partner, we recommend using a condom to prevent the spread of STD's and other bacteria, in addition to proper cleaning.  When you first receive your sex toy, make sure you clean it prior to using it.  In addition, check your toys to make sure there are no rips in the silicone, rubber, or jelly.  Look over your glass and hard plastic toys to make sure there are no cracks.  Any tears or cracks in the product can trap bacteria, and cannot be cleaned properly.

Sex Toys Made of Rubber/Jelly - Sex Toys that are made of rubber or jelly are porous and can trap dirt and bacteria.  You can clean these toys with a gentle anti-bacterial soap and water. If you are going to use anti-bacterial soap, make sure all the soap is gone completely from the product to prevent any damage to the toy or irritation to you.  There are numerous

Sex Toy Cleaners on the market that we would advise using that are made specifically to clean sex toys such as Before & After Toy Cleaner and Pjur Med Clean.  We do recommend using a condom on these products to ensure the utmost safety.  Let air dry or wife with soft cloth.

Sex Toys Made of Silicone - Products made of silicone are non-porous, which means they do not absorb bacteria like jelly toys.  Use a sex toy cleaner or gentle anti-bacterial soap and water to clean.  Silicone toys that are not battery operated or do not contain an electrical system can be boil for about two minutes.  Let air dry or wipe with soft cloth.

Sex Toys made of Hard Plastic or Acrylic - You can use a Sex Toy Cleaner or gentle anti-bacterial soap and water.  Let air dry or wipe down with a soft cloth.

Sex Toys Made of Glass, Pyrex, or Stainless Steel - Use a Sex Toy Cleaner or wash with gentle antibacterial soap and water.  You can also boil or place your glass or pyrex toys in the dishwasher if they do not contain a battery compartment or any electrical system.

Sex Toys Made of Realistic Materials Such As Cyberskin, UR3, Soft Touch, Futurotic, and Neoskin - These types of materials are typically used in erection rings, male masturbation toys such as sleeves and realistic vaginas.  Wash these products with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.  After a thorough cleaning, let the product air dry completely.  Then, apply a light coating of cornstarch to the product to keep the product maintained and fresh.

With any sex toy, make sure that you store it in a cool, dry area.  Avoid direct sunlight and always remove the batteries prior to storing.

Please make sure you read any included cleaning directions for additional directions to taking care of your sex toy.
