Q. I’m having an embarrassing problem. My Vagina seems to get dry during intercourse, and it becomes very pain full an experience. Is there something I can do to help can this?

First, I would like you to know you’re not alone. Many women experience this condition. Please consult your Doctor first. Below are some of the causes, and some hopefully helpful tips for you.

Communication

It’s always very important that you and your partner are able to discuss the issue with out feeling embarrassed. Hopefully you have a partner that you can talk openly and candidly. Stress also plays a part in having problems with a Dry Vagina. While talking in the bedroom with your partner, get creative, try some scenarios, try some role play, anything to help create stimulation without over trying, don’t force it.

Patience

A good partner is someone who instinctive to there partners needs and attitudes. Patience is necessary for a relationship to last and persevere. It’s something every person wishes they could find in a partner. Patience also helps with stimulation, as in a song I heard

“ Don’t be a one minute man “. Take the a “ time out “ step back, change things up a bit, go slow do some cuddling and touching. Build up to a climax.

Knowledge (Do your homework)

After consulting your Physician, I couldn’t stress more, you must research any problem that you might have medically before you make any decisions that you will affect your future or your families’ future. It’s better to be in formed than go into something blind. Also

Unfortunately there are other Medical factors that could make one have a Dry Vagina, here are just a few.

Menopause

Because we continue to grow older, women experience certain problems such as Menopause that change the makeup of your bodies. The average age of a woman who experiences menopause is 51. This is also an age when women are at a heighten state sexually. Symptoms of Menopause include, hot flashes, mood swings, and dryness of the vaginal. Your Doctor can evaluate you and prescribe medications to help you deal with this condition. Or there are Homeopathic ways to help you.

Medication related Symptoms

Certain medications can cause you to experience a dry vagina; some fortunately are easy to change such as an antihistamine used for a cold or nasal medication. Unfortunately some are not so easily changed such as chemotherapy medications are problems. Hypertension, and Diabetes and Cholesterol.

Other causes of a dry Vagina, some people are born with them, but some medications can cause them, and their medications may have the same undesired effects.

Medical Issues

It’s sad for any person to have to deal with any medical situation; one unfortunate side effect may be dryness of the vagina. These symptoms can be brought on by the medications too, but women who have immune disorders, sexually transmitted diseases, Tumors of the reproductive system or in the body, or some thing like Vaginitis, also can have the same problem with the dryness.

Sjogren’s Syndrome

This Syndrome effects 1 to 4 million American. It’s an autoimmune disease that accompanies rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis. These rheumatic diseases are marked by inflammation of your connective tissues. And it’s common for people with Sjogren’s syndrome to also have a connective tissues disorder.

We hope that any women that have one of these medical problems can recover and have a fun, exciting life.

But, women do not need to have a medical problem to have a dry vagina; in fact it’s quite common for women during the intercourse to become dry. Women like men can become bored with the routine; the results can be a sore, dry vagina. Try using some lubes, they accomplish 2 things, for one, women who don’t have any medical problems but become dry during intercourse, this can help stop you from drying leading to bleeding and give some protection to your vagina and the area directly around it.

The second recommendation is to change things up, experiment with something new. Stop that boring lovemaking! Boring sex could lead to relationships in turmoil, change it before it starts.

Once again it so unfortunate that women carry a burden of physical sexual problems such as dry vagina. There are so many different causes and not a lot of great solutions. Remind your partner that it’s important that you take time out to communicate, always have patience, and inform yourself, you’ll find out that together you can make new adventures and help solve or prevent this problem. Work hard together to get those endorphins going, that’s a goods thing. The problem arises when these three small situations turn into those larger medical issues. That’s when we hope you go back to those three easy steps 1 2 3, tell your partner your worth it.
