Keep The Excitement In Sex While Trying to Conceive

You and your partner have made the decision to have a baby.  This is a very exciting time in your relationship.  However, getting pregnant is not always easy as you think.   There is a 15-25% chance of conception every month, provided you and your partner are healthy and there are no underlying fertility issues.  About 80-90% of couples who have been trying to conceive will get pregnant within a year.  It is important to relax and have fun during this process.  For every month that you receive a negative pregnancy result, it can get frustrating for one or both partners.  Here are some tips on how to keep the excitement and fun in sex during your journey to having a baby.

When you and your partner have made the decision to start a family, you are beginning the next chapter of your lives.  In many cases, getting pregant can take a few months, and in some couples, it can even take longer than a year.  First and foremost, it is that you and your partner both get checked up by your health care provider just to make sure there are no underlying health issues that can affect your ability to conceive.

When you are trying to conceive, you may have been charting your fertility period, and purchased an ovulation kit.  You and your partner may have been trying to have sex on the days that you are most ikely to get pregnant.  Having sex may seem to become planned and lose the excitement.  Numerous times of trying that have led to negative pregnancy tests can increase the anxiety and stress to your relationship.  It is important to relax and have fun while you are trying to conceive.

When you are trying to conceive, do not just view sex as a means to becoming pregnant.  Have fun with the experience. There are different things that you and your partner can do to keep sex exciting and not feel like a necessary chore.  For example, try not to head straight to the intercourse.  It is understandable to be tired from your day, and not be in the mood for a night long sexual escapade.  However, if sex starts feeling more redundant, and less enjoyable, it is time to take some action to keep your sex pleasurable.

Relaxation is an essential part of the process of getting pregnant.  Becoming stressed out can negatively affect your body. As part of your journey to conceiving, set a relaxng atmosphere.  Take turns giving each other a soothing, erotic massage. Light some candles, dim the lights, and get the mood music going.  This can help to release some of that tension.

Try something new.  If you want to add some variation to your lovemaking, you may want to consider some light bondage play.  There are various products and kits that include blind folds, soft wrist restraints, and feather ticklers that can add some adventure to your sexual experiences.  Some couples may enjoy adding a sex toy to increase the arousal and to also keep things interesting in the bedroom.  In addition to bondage kits, there are also vibrating rings or traditional vibrators that can intensify the pleasure.

Remember to just let go and relax.  Have fun with your partner.  Trying to conceive is an exciting part of your relationship. Try not to get frustrated if you are not getting pregnant right away.  The most important thing is that you and your partner take care of yourselves and engage in a healthy lifestyle.  Again, it is important that you get checked by your health care provider to make sure you are healthy and there are no unsderlying problems that can affect your fertility.
