news bits,
In my opinion, I feel that this law is an infringement on a person's private life. These products have made positive impacts on marriages, relationships, and a person's well being. Let's be honest. A majority of us out there, whether we would like to admit it or not, has engaged in masturbation with or without a sexual device. This is a personal issue. Businesses that sell these types of items are not doing anything wrong. Individuals should have the right to purchase these types of products. It is his or her business on what goes on in their personal life.
Another part of the news story that floored me was the strict penalties for continuing to sell adult toys. For your second offense, you can go to prison for up to ten years? These business owners are not selling cocaine or committing violent crimes. These business owners are actually bringing something positive into the household. How can it be a crime to sell sex toys? Bottom line, it is your business what you do in the privacy of your own home.
