Sex Toys are Becoming More Mainstream

What was once considered taboo has become more mainstream over the past few years. The "Rabbit Pearl" vibrator by Vibratex received notoriety when it was featured in an episode of Sex and the City causing millions of viewers to want one. Trojan has advertisements on television featuring their latest vibrating creations. Several Doc Johnson products can be seen on shelves in a Spencer's store in a mall near you. In the latest news, the We-Vibe, a unique vibrator that can be used during sexual intercourse , is making its presence known at the biggest event of the year - The Super Bowl.

The We-Vibe Scores at the Super Bowl

An article published in the 'Ottawa Citizen' reports that the creators of the We-Vibe, Bruce and Melody Murison, will be giving We-Vibes to the NFL players and their wives and VIPs at the Super Bowl as part of a swag bag. The We-Vibe is a small, wireless vibrator that features dual motors and can be worn by the woman during sexual intercourse. The We-Vibe has increased in its popularity and was named "best selling toy at Venus Berlin's Erotic Awards for 2009."

Does this mean that sex toy companies will make it optional for the customers to ship their orders in plain box packaging? While sex toys are becoming more mainstream, we would rather keep the shopping discreet.
