What Makes a Dual Vibrator So Appealing?

Dual area vibrators or Jack Rabbit style vibrators are very popular amongst sex toy consumers.  Many adult toy companies have come up with their own version of these types of vibrators.  After the Vibratex Rabbit Pearl appeared in an episode of "Sex and the City" millions of women wanted to try one for themselves.  What makes this vibrator so appealing and how does it work?


Many of the dual area vibrators are designed with a shaft that looks similar to a penis with bulbous head. Many of the dual vibrators have metal or plastic beads that rotate within the shaft that is designed to massage the inside of the vagina.  With some of these vibrators, you can change the rotation direction of the shaft. As the popularity has grown with this type of vibe, some of the sex toy manufacturers have also created other dual vibrators that offer more advanced features to be more enticing to the customers.  For example, some dual vibrators were designed in which the shaft doesn't just rotate, but actually moves up and down.  One example of a dual vibrator that uses this technology is Jenna's Ultimate Stroker.  Some models of dual vibrators also have bi-rotational bead so that separate rows of beads move in different directions as opposed to all of the rows of beads rotating in the same direction.

In addition to a rotating shaft that massages the vagina, you will notice that the dual vibrators also have an area towards the base of the shaft that slightly juts out resembling either a rabbit, dolphin, hummingbird, etc.  This part of the vibe is designed to vibrate on your clitoris, simultaneously stimulating your clitoris while the shaft works on providing a vaginal massage.  Having the vaginal area and clitoris pleasured simultaneously makes this type of vibrator very exciting and delightful to use.

Dual vibrators are controlled by a separate corded controller, have the controls on the base, or for some have a twist dial on the base of the vibrator.  Dual vibrators such as the Spicy Rabbit and Vibratex Rabbit Pearl vibrator have a corded controller. Some consumers prefer the controls on the base of the vibrator, to eliminate having an extra controller that may get in the way.  Products such as the White Stork and Ultimate Decadent Bunny have the controls on the base.  Most of the dual vibrators also have separate controls to operate the shaft rotation and clitoral vibrator, which allows the user to choose just the right rotation speed and vibration intensity that is right for them.

In addition to continuous vibration, some of the dual vibrators offer pulsation and escalation modes which adds some variation.  Having more variatons of vibrations allows the customers to experience different types of sensations, and builds the arousal to potentially achieve a more powerful orgasm.
